Please provide 24 hours notice should you need to cancel your appointment. We reserve the right to charge full price for sessions that are canceled with less than 24 hours notice. We may also require a credit card to guarantee appointments under certain circumstances.

Intake Forms

If this is your first visit with us, please plan to arrive 10 minutes early for your session in order to complete one of our intake forms. These forms are extremely important as they serve to alert our therapist to any medical or other issues that they should be aware of prior to beginning your massage.

Gratuities are always accepted and deeply appreciated, but not expected.

Frequently Asked Questions

Must I Be Completely Undressed?

Most massage and bodywork sessions are traditionally performed with the client unclothed. However, you may decide what amount of clothing you wish to wear during the session. Your therapist is trained in, and will observe, proper draping techniques to maintain modesty during the session.

Will the Practitioner Be Present When I Disrobe?

The practitioner will leave the room while you undress. After undressing, relax on the table under the sheet or towel that will be provided.

What Parts of My Body Will Be Massaged?

Your practitioner will discuss with you the desired outcome of your session. This will determine which parts of your body require massage. Typically, a full body session will include work on your back, arms, legs, feet, hands, head, neck and shoulders. Under no circumstances will you be touched on or near your genitals (male or female) or breasts (female).

Are There Any Medical Conditions That Would Make Massage or Bodywork Inadvisable?

Yes. It is imperative that you fully disclose any existing health conditions, or medications you are taking, on our intake form. If you are under a doctor's care, it is strongly advised that you receive a written approval for massage therapy prior to any session. Please understand that your practitioner may require this if you have recently been in an accident, or have a medical condition that concerns them.

How Will I Feel After My Massage or Bodywork Session?

Most people feel extremely relaxed! It is possible that you may feel some soreness the same day or even the next day following deep-tissue work. This is normal. However, after an initial period of feeling slowed down, many people experience increased energy, heightened awareness and greater productivity, which can last for days. Since toxins are released during a massage, it is recommended that you drink plenty of water afterward.

How Often Should I Schedule a Massage or Bodywork Session?

As a baseline, we recommend that clients consider scheduling a massage or bodywork session every 4 - 6 weeks. More frequent sessions may be considered if you experience an injury or strain, a period of unusual stress, or repetitive motion injuries from extreme workload. We realize that budget and financial concerns play a role, and will be happy to work with you to balance all these factors to your greatest benefit.
